Welcome to Wikimania 2026 in Paris and online! The conference will take place from 21 - 25 July with the theme Freedom, Equity, Reliability (Liberté, Équité, Fiabilité).

We're celebrating 25 years since the creation of Wikipedia. Yet the world has never been so dangerous for the free encyclopedia and its entire ecosystem. How can we resist political and media attacks, increase solidarity between Wikimedian communities of different languages and other digital commons, and ensure an inclusive space where Wikimedians can dream the future together? Wikimania 2026 is an opportunity to take action to preserve free access to knowledge.

You can browse the schedule and register for the virtual event. Once you have registered, you will be able to join the virtual event from this page. Registration for the virtual event will be available until 24 hours before the conference begins. Tickets for the in-person event have sold out.
