Open Source Communities from Korea, DebConf24 & OpenInfra Summit Asia 2024
- Ubuntu Korea: Ubuntu Korea Community, established late 2005 is an Ubuntu Local community verified by Ubuntu Community Council. We organize various activities such as: Providing online community and documentation service, Organizing events like seminars and conferences, Group studies and projects on Ubuntu and its related open source technologies.- C++ Korea: Korea User Group of C++ programming language. Since Oct. 2013.We organize regular MeetUp and Technical seminars for professional developers, and help studies of the beginners across the broad developer domains.- Women Who Code Seoul: Women Who Code Seoul is an inclusive community where women in tech can grow in their career. Our mission is to inspire women to excel in technology careers. We envision a world where women are proportionally represented as tech leaders, executives, founders, VCs, board members, and software engineers. Diversity is our strength. Women Who Code Seoul has a variety of women leaders who are not limited to technology and job titles (developers, PMs, designers, etc.).- OpenInfra Korea: A local community for people interested in OpenStack and other projects under OpenInfra foundation. Gathers OpenInfra enthusiasts by organizing periodic meetups and bring new contributors with upstream contribution training program. Also organized largest OpenInfra community gathering in Korea every year - OpenInfra Days Korea. OpenInfra Korea will be organizing "OpenInfra Summit Asia" in Suwon, Korea Sept 3-4- Debian Korea & DebConf24 local team: Debian Korea is a local Debian community in Korea for gathering Debian users and contributors. With collaboration with organizers from other communities such as Ubuntu Korea, C++Korea, OpenInfra Korea and more, DebConf24 will be organized in Busan July 21 - August 4
