FOSSASIA Summit 2025
Guardian Project

Guardian Project

At our booth, we aim to showcase (through interactive demos, engaging games, and meaningful conversations) three of our current projects. These projects are uniquely aligned with the FOSSASIA community's interests, addressing challenges like offline accessibility, secure communications, and privacy-centric solutions—key concerns across many Asian contexts.
Circulo: A secure and dedicated communication platform designed to send alerts and share critical information within a trusted network. This is particularly relevant for communities in Asia facing challenges like disaster response coordination, community safety efforts, and advocacy work in sensitive environments.
ProofMode: A groundbreaking system that enables authentication and verification of multimedia content. From capturing photos and videos on a smartphone to ensuring their integrity for recipients, this tool is ideal for journalists, activists, and organizations in Asia tackling misinformation and promoting accountability.
ButterBox: A portable, transportable device that distributes content to communities without requiring internet connectivity. It is a powerful tool for addressing internet shutdowns, digital literacy training in rural or underserved areas, and disaster response scenarios. Equipped with a curated app store, offline maps, chat features, and support for USB content uploads, it empowers communities to access vital resources in remote and offline environments across Asia.
